Explore Southern Oregon Wine Country
UMPQUA VALLEY
The Umpqua Valley, one of Oregon’s warmer climates, celebrates the pioneering spirit of our innovative family winery owners who love to share the tranquil beauty of our region and abundant recreation available for all to enjoy. Explore the Umpqua Valley Wine Trail and discover your own favorite new wineries.
ROGUE VALLEY WINE COUNTRY
Home to year-round family fun & adventure, the Rogue Valley has four distinct regions and seasons. Spring is lush and green and filled with energy. In summer the Britt Music Festival and Oregon Shakespeare Festival take the stage. In fall, sunny days and cooler evenings bring beautiful fall foliage to harvest season and in winter find a fireplace over the holidays in historic towns or snowshoe at Crater Lake or ski Mt. Ashland.
APPLEGATE VALLEY
The only designated sub-AVA in the Rogue Valley, the Applegate’s vineyards range from 1,000 to 1,500 feet elevation. Warmer and drier than the Illinois Valley to the west but less so than the Southern Rogue Valley to the east, loads of varieties thrive here.
JACKSONVILLE
Arguably Oregon’s cutest town, Jacksonville has become a wine destination-art-and-music lover spot with tasting rooms, Victorian B&Bs, festivals, loads of pioneer sites, great farm to table eats and super shopping.
