Support TSO as a Member
For more than 40 years, partner memberships have been a key element to our regional tourism strategies. This past year has seen our regional tourism spending recovery continue, albeit slowly but steadily. In 2024, our collaborative marketing and outreach efforts with all of our regional partners resulted in a total spend of $1.41 billion by regional visitors, which supported almost 13,000 jobs across the region. This was a modest increase of .5% in total visitor spending, which was still $6.5 million more than 2023.
As we appeal to you for your continued support of Travel Southern Oregon through your annual $400 membership, we have some great reasons to continue your support. Each year we print 75,000 copies of our annual Travel Southern Oregon Visitors Guide. Your membership investment ensures that we can continue to distribute our Visitor Guide at attractions, lodging properties and state Welcome Centers across the state and region to help drive traffic to you.
As part of Travel Oregon’s annual Tourism Industry Partner Survey, we gather important feedback about what all of you see as priorities for our industry, and what in particular you would like to see TSO focus on. In response to strong feedback asking for more regional in-person opportunities for training and networking, we will bring back our Southern Oregon tourism conference in February 2026! We have renamed this conference the Southern Oregon Travel Jam (formerly known as Symposium)—your TSO membership will get you and any staff at your business who attend our day-long, idea-filled conference a significant discount. Save the date of Monday, February 23, 2026 and join us at the Rogue Valley Country Club in Medford for an inspirational and informational day with your industry colleague—all at a great TSO Membership discount.
We trust you have found the partnership with TSO worth your continued support. Your membership not only helps sustain effective marketing and educational opportunities, but it also helps us provide benefits to our staff who are here to work with you all year long. It also helps us continue to host a wide diversity of media and writers in the region to help tell your story to potential travelers.
Every day we are proud to represent all of you, the best tourism industry partners in the state, and we hope to serve you as a TSO partner for many years to come.
