Beaver Swamp Trailhead

This 1.2-mile trail passes through a dense forest with a variety of timber types, including a section that was burned in a 2002 lightning fire. Although it has limited views along the way, Beaver Swamp Trail rewards hikers with access to Fish Lake, a beautiful, secluded lake within Rogue-Umpqua Divide Wilderness. Elevation changes from 4100 feet at the trailhead to 3400 feet at the junction with Fish Lake Trail #1570.
