Upper Klamath Lake

Nearly 30 miles long and eight miles wide with depths of up to 60 feet, the Upper Klamath Lake is the largest freshwater body west of the Rocky Mountains. The lake's Pelican Bay draws anglers who watch catch large trout while wildlife observers come to see the many waterfowl, otter, mink, deer and bald eagles.

The lake is a stop off the Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway.
