Southern Oregon State Parks
Southern Oregon features several great State Parks for camping adventures depending on where you are and what you want to do. Valley of the Rogue State Park in Gold Hill and Joseph Stewart State Park are both on the beautiful Rogue River, with the latter offering boating on Lost Creek Lake. In the high country of Klamath County Collier Memorial State Park features the Logging Museum and Jackson E. Kimball State Park offers a primitive experience at the headwaters of the Wood River.
County Parks in Southern Oregon
Find remote and full-facility camping at a wide variety of County parks across Southern Oregon. Along the I-5 corridor visitors can stay at Jackson County Parks near Medford and Ashland, Josephine County Parks near Grants Pass or Douglas County Parks near Roseburg. Vistors traveling along U.S 97 in Klamath County can visit Klamath County Parks, while visitors coming into Southern Oregon along U.S 395 in Lakeview can camp at many Lake County Parks.
Lake of the Woods
35 miles northwest of Klamath Falls on Hwy 140. This high mountain lake resort rests amid the majestic fir and lofty pines, one can enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational activities year-round! Lodge, cabins, campground and a wonderful restaurant.
Howard Prairie Lake
Located 22 miles east of I-5 and Ashland via Hwy 66. Great trout fishing. Campgrounds for tents and RV's, plus lodging. Open April 15-November 1. Lily Glen open year-round. Services from March 15 - November
