Man, are the festivals good. From food and beer festivals to music, art, and county fairs, southern Oregon has so many to keep you going all summer long! We have chosen just a few of our favorite summer festivals that you give you a true taste of southern Oregon life; whether you are visiting from afar or a local you don’t want to miss these.
SOUTHERN OREGON LAVENDER FESTIVAL
Every summer the Southern Oregon Lavender Trail comes together to offer a celebration of the heady aromas of the lavender bloom. They offer two weekends for you to plan your vacation around and to visit the three farms in the Rogue Valley. Live music, special lavender food offerings, gifts, education, and plenty of photo ops round out a weekend of stunning beauty. Read all about the fun we had last year at the lavender festival HERE.

BASIN BREW AND Q at the KLAMATH FREEDOM CELEBRATION
Breweries from around the region AND country provide tasting to compliment the barbecue competition! Local cooks grill up their favorite recipes for all to enjoy. Live music, local artistans and vendors, activities and fun for the whole family!

ROGUE VALLEY FARM TOUR
Take yourself on a self-guided tour of more than 30 different farms throughout the Rogue Valley. Join in farm tours, tastings, kids activities and more. We loved visiting with our farmers learning about the history and seeing behind the scenes.

GRANTS PASS BACK TO THE 50’s CELEBRATION
Join the community of Grants Pass for a week long celebration that includes a special concert in the park, sock hop, diner night and poker run, classic car show, 50’s concert, outdoor movie, culminating with the Classic Car Cruise!

LAKE COUNTY ROUND-UP
In its 100th year the Lake County Round-Up offers a whole weekend of fun that includes a Rodeo, Fair, Destruction Derby, Live Music and MORE! 2019’s concert headliner will be country superstar Chris Janson!

THE GREAT UMPQUA OUTDOOR DAYS
An adventure packed weekend starting with the N.U.T. Cracker Mountain Bike Race followed by a BBQ beer, wine, food, and live music at Stewart Park in Roseburg.

WINSTON MELON FESTIVAL
Three days of community activities that include a parade, melon eating contest, car shows, mud volleyball, kids activities, live music and more!

OREGON SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL THEATRE AND FREE GREEN SHOWS
Enjoy world class theatre all summer long. Enjoy Shakespeare classics, originals, and even Broadway hits. Wednesday through Saturday, 645pm enjoy FREE Green Shows live music, arts, and dancing June through September on the bricks in front of the Angus Bowmer Theatre!

BRITT MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL
Enjoy live music and comedy on the hill in the historic gold rush town of Jacksonville. Bring a picnic and a bottle of wine (depending on the show) and enjoy your evening under the stars June into September. A truly unique southern Oregon experience!
