Southern Oregon’s Top Food Trucks

Medford

Check out this top dog – Victory Dogs was ranked the best hot dog in Oregon by Travel + Leisure. With more than 60 types of hot dogs and 1,500 variations, the dog that put the “V” in Victory is the Crack’in, a massive (family-size) 4-pounder with more than 10 meats, endless cheese and a whopping four buns.

Pupusas on Wheels is where you’ll find the drool-worthy El Salvadorian dish with tasty offerings like revuelta (pork, beans and cheese), pollo (chicken and cheese) and chorizo (pork sausage and cheese). Vegetarians delight over just as many options, such as calabaza (pumpkin), frijoles (refried beans) or jalapeno pupusas.

Roseburg

Part small-batch brewery, part Latin food truck, Salud Brewery Bar and Food Truck is known for its beautiful beverage pairings with passion-infused Latin foods. Order a feast of tapas alongside entrees, craft beers and wines from the Umpqua Valley.

It’s a vegan paradise at Wrappin and Rollin, where fresh, organic and wholesome foods reign supreme. Try the famous bowls, specialties like spicy cauliflower bites, or hot wings made with tofu and homemade sauce. It’s so delish that even your carnivore friends won’t miss the meat.

Klamath Falls

Find excellent Asian-fusion dishes and service at Fuong’s Kitchen, where top menu picks include a variety of banh mi sandwiches, noodle dishes, spring rolls, curries and a smattering of veggie dishes. If you’re looking for something simple, fresh and tasty, don’t miss the cilantro-tofu soup.

The aptly named Heavenly Thai has a solid fan following thanks to its pad thai, drunken noodles, crab rolls and Thai iced tea. Enjoy all your Thai favorites at this authentic truck, which dishes up generous portions.

Papa Terall’s BBQ & Catering is a smokin’-good bet with fall-off-the-bone mains and homemade sides. Check out the finger-licking pulled pork, barbecue chicken and tri-tips with a hearty side of beans, coleslaw or potato salad.

Catalyst Pizza Co. is home to your favorite kind of pies, but also off-the-wall (in all the best ways) combinations like Buddha’s Bread with grilled chicken and peanut sauce and the Mother Clucker with buffalo grilled chicken. They also have paninis and gyros for those looking for something a little different – but just as delicious.

Talent

You’ll want más, más, más of this uber-authentic Mexican food truck dishing up all your favorites with a gorgeous backdrop of the Rogue Valley’s rolling hills. Ample outdoor seating makes Garcia’s Tacos a summer must, complete with homemade tortillas served up daily.

J’s Bistro Wagon in Talent offers a wagon menu fit for cowboy royalty. Try the teriyaki or buffalo-style chicken legs, barbecue pork ribs, or cod fish and chips. Check out the bistro’s “Wine & Dine” events, in which they partner with a local winery each month to prepare a five-course themed dinner paired with Rogue Valley wines.

Elkton

What’s better than a day by the river? Unbeatable Mexican fare from El Guerrero Azteca, not far from the Umpqua River. You’ll find your favorite dishes, plenty of shade and an al fresco dining experience to beat the heat.
