The organization MEC Disabilities is initiating a substantial project known as the 1st Free For Families Sensory Space in Josephine County. The objective is to create sensory rooms that will function as sanctuaries for children with disabilities, offering therapeutic advantages, sensory stimulation, and a secure environment for their growth and development. MEC Disabilities is confident that this endeavor will have a lasting positive impact on the lives of numerous families confronting challenges associated with disabilities.

Offerings at this establishment include:

1. Seven Individual Sensory Rooms: Providing a diverse range of sensory experiences with three calming sensory rooms and four active/hybrid sensory rooms.
2. Cost for Families: Thanks to generous donors and sponsors, families can access these sensory rooms at no cost.
3. Educational Classes: Offering a variety of classes tailored for children, parents, caregivers, and specialists to enhance learning and understanding in a supportive environment.
