Beekman House 1932 Living History – 3rd Saturday of the month

February 01 - May 18

Time travel to 1932 Jacksonville. It’s the Great Depression and Ben and Carrie Beekman, the children of Jacksonville, Oregon’s wealthiest and most prominent pioneer family, are closing up their 1870s family home. Guests touring this national historic landmark become part of a 1-hour living history “play,” interacting with Carrie and Ben Beekman, family members, and friends as they comment on Depression Era Jacksonville, 1932 life, and share memories of growing up in the late 1800s.

In 2024, these special Living History tours will be offered the 3rd Saturday of each month from February 17th through May 18th. Tours are limited to 10 people and are not recommended for children under 9.

February tours begin at 11am, 12:30pm and 2pm.

March, April, and May tours begin at 10:30am, 11:30am, 1pm, and 2pm.
