Crater Rock Museum
Crater Rock Museum has been in Central Point since it was founded in 1954 by Frieda and Delmar Smith. It’s now a 12,000 square foot facility, housing world class exhibits and one of the top displays of gems, minerals, fossils, and archeology on the West Coast. And of course, there’s more! The last expansion included a huge gift shop, additional meeting rooms, and a top-notch lapidary workshop. Crater Rock Museum invites you to include a stop to the museum in your travel plans.
