The Weekend Family Events on Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3, 2017 will be a fun way to spend the weekend with family and friends as the starry winter nights are upon us before the holidays.
From the moment visitors and guests walk into the Evergreen Federal Bank’s Bear Hotel, they are greeted by winter wonderland. The Bear Hotel, where the famous carved wooden bears of Grants Pass street art are stored, lives up to its role as the community’s artistic heart as it magically transforms into a dazzling holiday celebration.
Half of the warehouse is home to Evergreen Federal Bank’s Southern Oregon Winter Adventure Display–towering 30 foot redwoods, bridges over Crater Lake, forest lands, vineyards, beaches, Hellgate Canyon and the roaring Rogue River, and the famous Oregon Caves. This display is the dream child of Evergreen Federal Bank and designed and created by local artists. Artists have added winter touches that will amaze visitors–a one-of-a-kind tribute to the beauty of Southern Oregon.
The other half of the warehouse is dedicated to Rogue Winterfest. Thousand of lights illuminate the middle of the room surrounded by thirty holiday trees and creative art pieces. During the Weekend Holiday Events guests can enjoy a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, face painting, fishing at the North Pole, search for hidden treasures, stop by Santa’s Workshop, indulge your woodworking skills with a child’s building project by Home Depot…..and listen to continuous live holiday music by local bands and orchestras to get you in the festive spirit.
Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children and our friends over 55.
The 2017 Rogue Winterfest will be held November 30 – December 4 at the Evergreen Federal Banks’s Bear Hotel, 2101 NE Spalding Ave.,Grants Pass, OR. Tickets are sold at the door for the Weekend Events. All other events require advance reservations.
