Improving Accessible Tourism in Southern Oregon

We would like to invite you to upcoming stakeholder meetings focused on improving accessible tourism in Southern Oregon. Please RSVP to Dr. Pavlina McGrady to join the stakeholder meeting in your region:

Ashland – Sep 26 – 10am SOU Hannon Library

Grants Pass – Oct 10 (time and location TBC)

Klamath Falls – Oct 11 – 9am Discover Klamath

Roseburg – Oct 15 – 2pm Douglas County Museum

At each meeting, Dr. Pavlina McGrady and her research team will present key findings from their research on accessibility in Southern Oregon, supported by a Travel Oregon grant. After the presentation, they will host a discussion to identify regional priorities related to accessibility.

The goal is to gather stakeholders in each region together and gain further input on how we can create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all. Accessibility improvements benefit everyone—visitors and residents alike. By working together we can not only address challenges but also seize the opportunities that accessible tourism presents to our community.

Your input and participation are essential to shaping Southern Oregon’s future as an accessible destination. We look forward to collaborating with you!  Thank you for your consideration to attend.
