Getting to Ashland
The Mount Ashland Trail System is accessible from several areas of downtown Ashland (exits 14 & 19 on I-5) and also from the Mount Ashland Ski Area Road (exit 6 on I-5)

Getting to Spence Mountain
Spence Trailhead is located on Highway 140, just uphill from the edge of Klamath Lake about 10 miles north of Klamath Falls. Shoalwater Bay Trail head is accessed by going another 5 miles north on Highway 140 over Doak summit. At the bottom of the other side turn north on Eagle Ridge Road and the trailhead is about 2 miles on the left.

Oregon Timber Trail
The Fremont tier of the Oregon Timber Trail starts south of Lakeview near the California border. It travels north along the spine of the Warner Mountains and then west along the Winter Rim overlooking the playas of Summer Lake and Silver Lake on the Fremont National Recreation Trail.

Getting to the Oregon Timber Trail
Accessing the Oregon Timber Trail near its southern terminus is easy from downtown Lakeview. Lakeview is on US Hwy 395 just 20 miles north of the California border, at the intersection of Oregon 140, which comes from Medford and Klamath Falls. Oregon 31 heads south from La Pine from US Hwy 97 and intersects with Highway 395 30 miles north of Lakeview.

North Umpqua Trail
If you like endless singletrack through old growth forests in the Pacific Northwest, then North Umpqua is for you. The route is a long-distance adventure best ridden in sections or over the course of multiple days with a support vehicle.

Getting to North Umpqua Trail
Between the town of Glide and the high elevation Diamond Lake, the North Umpqua Trail follows Oregon Highway 138, the Highway of Waterfalls, for much of its route. The higher Dread and Terror section is accessed off of Hwy 138 near Toketee Falls. Hwy 138 meets Interstate 5 in Roseburg at exit 124.
