Liz Gayner will be leading the annual Raptor Run (raptor birding field trip) this year. There is little walking involved, and absolutely no running. Bring your binoculars, spotting scope if you have one, and lunch.
The group will meet at the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) parking lot at 8:30 a.m. and will plan carpools. Don’t worry if you don’t have binoculars or a spotting scope as sharing will be encouraged. For more information, call Liz at 541-784-8990.
Trip Difficulty: The trip will primarily take place on North Bank Road. Activity level will involve getting in and out of cars, standing or birding from vehicles.
Facilities: ADA wheelchair accessible vault restrooms are available at both the East and West Entrances of the North Bank Habitat parking lots. Cell phone service is not available on much of the road.
Parking: Most stops will involve dirt or graveled pullouts. Some pullouts and the BLM parking lots are wide enough to accommodate wheelchair vans.
