Moss Pass Trailhead

Provides access toFremont National Recreation Trail #160 – Middle Segment a portion of the Fremont National Recreation Trail #160.

Located 50 minutes south of Paisley, Oregon, the Moss Pass trailhead is open to hikers, horseback riders, and mountain bikers.  At 6250 feet in elevation this trailhead affords pretty views of Steens Mountain and Mount Shasta. 

Amenities are limited but dispersed camping is permitted and there are picnic tables available. There is no potable water. Visitors need to pack plenty of water. There are four parking spurs, a drive through turnaround, and signed trail directions at this trailhead.
