Fisher Hot Springs

Fisher Hot Springs is one of seven springs in the Crump Geyer Geothermal Area.  Hundreds of gallons a minute of 140 degree F water flow from the source hot springs and are piped to two bath tubs.  The water is so hot that sometimes you have to wait many hours before being able to soak depending on outside conditions.  Sometimes a tub is half full so you can heat it up, or one of the tubs is full of water that has cooled off and you can bucket some to the other pool, but usually you wait.  Wooden boards are on the ground around the tubs to access the tubs without getting your feet all muddy but sometimes they have shifted and moved so care should be taken.  Even though the source spring is on public land the tubs and the parking area is actually on private land so please respect the owner's private property rights and leave no trace.
