1188 Brewing Company

In the heart of John Day River Territory and very near the Painted Hills – one of the 7 Wonders of Oregon – you’ll find the newest member of the Eastern Oregon Brews Byway. 1188 Brewing Company is located on the main street of John Day and features such tasty beers as Black Oak Instigator, Rim Rock IPA, and Leafdropper – to name a few. 

In addition to beers brewed on site, the popular pub offers several guest taps from small breweries around Oregon. Whenever possible, the full menu utilitzes local ingredients from Grant County and around the Northwest. Family is very important to teh owners, who provide a family friendly environment throughout business hours.
