Islet Boat Launch/ Day Use Area

This day-use area is located at the Islet Campground at the north end of Waldo Lake and offers wonderful sandy beaches. The winds consistently blow each afternoon, offering a cool break from the summer sun. The 1-mile Shoreline Trail between Islet and North Waldo Campgrounds provides a short and pleasant hike along the lakeshore. The mosquito population is high from June to mid-August, so come prepared.
