East Fork Illinois River Trail

Heavily wooded trail with beautiful scenery. Trail enters the Siskiyou Wilderness at the fourth river crossing. The river offers some fair fishing opportunities and some beautiful swimming holes for the very hardy. This is a long trail and its four river crossings require wading in swift, cold water that is about 1.5 feet deep. Trail ends at Youngs Valley.
