One of Oregon’s largest wineries, Bridgeview Vineyards is best known for their line of “Blue Moon” Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir. Other popular wines that they produce are a Cab-Merlot blend, Gewurztraminer, and Semi-Sparking Muscat.
Almost all of the grapes are grown on the 85 acre estate vineyards in the Illinois Valley and the 80 acre vineyard located in the Applegate Valley. The Applegate Valley was approved as Oregons sixth appellation and is known for its deep, well-drained soils, warm days and cool nights that make it well-suited for the Merlot and other Bordeaux varietals Bridgeview has planted there.
The winery is very much a family-run operation with Lelo and Bob Kerivan at the helm and son Ren serving as both winemaker and vice president. Visitors to Bridgeview can taste an array of fine wines and picnic on the estate grounds. Bridgeview cordially invites you to visit the winery, sit on the deck, and watch the sun set behind the mountains with a glass of wine in hand. Open daily 11 am – 5 pm.
