In less than a month, Centennial Golf Club, recently named by Golf World as one of the top 50 U.S. Golf courses, will host one of the newest and hottest events in Medford. All net proceeds will go to CASA of Jackson County and Resolve Center for Dispute Resolution & Restorative Justice. The Southern Oregon Classic is said to be one of the finest golf, culinary, wine and dance events of the year. I don’t know about you, but I do not plan on missing this one! This two-day fundraiser is packed with some of the best of the Northwest (Southern Oregon, that is).

If you are a golfer, you want to be there Friday July 15, which will be a double shotgun golf tournament starting with the big bang of … you guessed it, food! An anticipated 200 golfers will enjoy a continental breakfast and then a BBQ lunch between rounds. Tent sponsors will be strategically placed around each hole, and players are not only competing for their pride and reputation, but also for some great prizes.

If you are a foodie, you must attend "The Feast". This main event is open to the public and will kick off at 4 pm on Centennial’s lawn, where guests will be encouraged and enticed to enter a “culinary and beverage heaven.” All you need is one single ticket which is the golden ticket to unlimited food and drinks throughout the evening.
