The Valley

Ashland

1 - Emigrant Lake County Park - Located 20 miles southeast of Medford via I-5 to Exit 14. Waterslide and food concession is open daily, Memorial Day to Labor Day. Day use open year-round. Sunset Campground: March 15-October 15. New RV Park. (541) 774-8183


2 - Howard Prairie Lake Recreational Area - Located 22 miles east of I-5 and Ashland via Hwy 66. Great trout fishing. Campgrounds for tents and RV's, plus lodging. Open April 15-November 1. Lily Glen open year-round. Services from March 15-November 1. (541) 482-1979

Grants Pass

3 - Indian Mary Park - Located near Galice off I-5, Exit 61. Park is on the Rogue River and offers fishing and camping. Open April 1-October 31. (541) 474-5285


4 - Valley of the Rogue State Park - Located between Medford and Grants Pass on I-5 and the Rogue River. Amenities include boat ramp, interpretive trail and campground with 97 full hookup sites (sewer electricity and water), 49 sites with electricity and water, 21 tent sites, six yurts, and a group camp area. Meeting hall and 1.5 mile trail along the Rogue River. (541) 582-3128

Illinois Valley

5 - Grayback and Caves Creek Campgrounds - Located on the way to the Oregon Caves National Monument. Take Oregon Caves Exit from Cave Junction. (541) 592-3400

Jacksonville

6 - Cantrall-Buckley Park - Located eight miles southwest of Jacksonville off Hwy 240. Day use facilities on river for picnics, fishing, swimming, plus campgrounds with showers. Open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays, March 1-October 1, 10am-sunset. Campground open May 1-October 15. (541) 776-7001

Medford

7 - Joseph P. Stewart State Park - On Lost Creek Reservoir, 35 miles northwest of Medford off Hwy 62. Park features a marina, swimming beach, 5.5 miles of hiking trails and six-mile bike trail. Campground has 151 sites with electricity and water, 50 tent sites and hot showers. (541) 560-3334

Roseburg

Bureau of Land Management Campgrounds Roseburg District. Enjoy the varied recreation activities on Roseburg District public lands--camping, hiking, picnicking, wildlife viewing, horseback riding, biking, fishing, hunting and boating. Bureau of Land Management Campgrounds - Susan Creek, Millpond, Cavitt Creek Falls, Rock Creek and Tyee Campgrounds provide overnight facilities for campers in the Umpqua River area. Contact the BLM Roseburg District Office, for specific information on each campground. (541) 440-4930


8 - Charles Stanton County Park - Campgrounds Located off I-5, northbound Exit 99, southbound Exit 101. 23 acres with 40 tent/trailer sites. 20 with water/electric. No camping reservations. Open year-round. (541) 839-4483


9 - John P. Amacher County Park - Campground Located five miles north of Roseburg, I-5 Exit 129. 19 acres with 30 tent/trailer sites. 20 with water electric. No camping reservations taken. Excellent river floating in the summer. Open year-round. (541) 672-4901


10 - Mildred Kanipe Memorial Park - County Park Picnic sites and facilities located among historic ranch house and outbuildings. The 1,100 acres of park/wildlife reserve is accessible by foot or horseback only. Dispersed camping by permit only. Season park, March 15-November 1, 7am to dark. (541) 459-9567


11 - Pass Creek County Park -Campground - Located off I-5 at Curtin, Exit 163. 23 acres with 60 tent/trailer sites. 30 with water/electric. No camping reservations taken. Open year-round. (541) 942-3281

Selma

12 - Lake Selma Country Park - Located off Hwy 199. A man-made lake with state record bass fishing, boating, camping, swimming, complete with store and boat rentals. Open April 1-September 30. (541) 474-5285 2700 Lakeshore Drive Selma OR 97538

 

The High Country

Fort Klamath

13 - Jackson F. Kimball State Park & Campground - Three miles north of the quaint town of Fort Klamath and only 20 minutes to the south entrance of Crater Lake National Park. Peace and solitude is the main focus here. Enjoy a short hike through the quaking aspens to the headwaters of the Wood River. (541) 783-2471

Mountain Lakes

14 - East Davis Campground - Located on East Davis Lake off Hwy 46, the Cascade Lake Scenic Byway. Watch the waterfowl from your tent or trailer or cast your fly rod for a trophy size rainbow trout. (541) 433-3200


15 - Fourmile Lake Campground - Located at the foot of spectacular Mt. McLoughlin and on the shores of beautiful Fourmile Lake. 35 miles northwest of Klamath Falls off Hwy 140. This area offers camping, boating, fishing and picnicking. Hiking in this area is bar none with easy accessibility to the Sky Lake Wilderness area. (541) 885-3400


16 - Lake of the Woods Camping - 35 miles northwest of Klamath Falls on Hwy 140. This high mountain lake resort rests amid the majestic fir and lofty pines, one can enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational activities year-round! Lodge, cabins, campground and a wonderful restaurant. (541) 949-8300


17 - Sunset Cove Campground - Located on Odell Lake off Hwy 58. This breathtaking campground offers areas for picnicking, swimming and hiking. Accessible boat ramps for phenomenal fishing. (541) 433-3200

Klamath Falls

18 - Aspen Point Campground - 33 miles northwest of Klamath Falls at Lake of the Woods, right off Hwy 140. This area offers swimming, hiking, boating and much more. Camp in the middle of towering pine trees. (541) 885-3400


19 - Collier Memorial State Park - On Hwy 97 about 30 miles north of Klamath Falls. Features open air logging museum filled with early logging equipment and a pioneer log cabin village. Campground has 50 full hookup sites (sewer, electricity and water), 18 tent sites, and hot showers. Visitors enjoy fishing in two streams. (541) 783-2417 Klamath Falls


20 - Gerber Reservoir - 50 miles east of Klamath Falls, past Bonanza. Enjoy camping, fishing and relaxing in a beautiful grove of ponderosa pines. (541) 883-6916


21 - Topsy Reservoir Campground - 20 miles west of Klamath Falls, just past the town of Keno on Hwy 66. Great place for swimming and enjoying the sunshine among the pine trees. Close to Klamath Sportsman Park. (541) 883-6916 Klamath Falls

Lakeview Area

22 - Cottonwood Meadows Recreation Area - 28 miles west of Lakeview on Hwy 140. Eight miles northeast on Forest Service Road #3870. 24 unit family campground, 6,100 feet above sea level. Boating (motorboats prohibited), fishing, swimming, hiking.


23 - Deep Creek Campground - Six miles north of Lakeview on Hwy 395. Eight miles east on Hwy 140, 14 miles southeast on Forest Service Road #3915. One mile southwest on FS #4015. Six unit family campground. 5,600 feet elevation. Fishing, gathering.


24 - Dog Lake Recreation Area - 10 miles west of Lakeview on Hwy 140. 4.5 miles south on county road 1-12, 12 miles west on Forest Service Road #4017. 10-unit family campground, two-unit group campground. 5,100 feet elevation. Boating (motorboat speed limit is five mph), fishing, swimming.


25 - Drews Creek Campground - 10 miles west of Lakeview on Hwy 140. 4.5 miles south on county 1-12, three miles west on Forest Service Road #4017. Four-unit family campground, two-unit group campground. 4,900 feet elevation. Fishing, softball, horseshoe pits.


26 - Goose Lake State Park - East of Klamath Falls, off US 395, 15 miles south of Lakeview. Campground has 48 sites with electricity and water. Features wildlife viewing on lake shared by Oregon and California. (541) 947-3111


27 - Mud Creek Campground - Six miles north of Lakeview on Hwy 395. Nine miles east on Hwy 140. Seven miles north on forest service road #3615. Seven-unit family campground. 6,600 feet elevation. Fishing, gathering, hiking.


28 - Willow Creek Campground - Six miles north of Lakeview on Hwy 395. Eight miles east on Hwy 140. Nine miles southeast on Forest Service Road #3915, one mile south on FS #4011. Eight-unit family campground. 5,800 feet elevation. Fishing, gathering, hiking.

 

The Coast

Bandon

29 - Bullards Beach State Park - Located two miles north of Bandon. Home of the Coquille River Lighthouse, with interpretive tours daily during summer months. Campground includes 185 sites with sewer and/or electrical hookups, 13 yurts, a horse camp and hot showers. Coquille Lighthouse tours, seven mile horse trail, meeting hall and 4.5 miles of beach. Brookings

30 - Alfred A. Loeb State Park - Northeast of Brookings, about 10 miles off Hwy 101 on the Chetco River. Park features three log cabins within sight of the river, a favorite with anglers. Myrtlewood-shaded campground has 50 sites with electricity and water. Hot showers. (541) 469-2021


31 - Harris Beach State Park - Located just north of Brookings. A sandy shoreline and spectacular seascape delight beachcombers and sightseers. Campground includes 86 sites with sewer and/or electrical hookups, 63 tent sites and six yurts. Hot showers, cable TV available at selected sites. (541) 469-2021

Charleston

32 - Bastendorff Beach State Park - Located 1/4 mile off the Cape Arago Hwy, two miles west of Charleston. 81 overnight campsites. Open year-round. (541) 888-5353 4250 Bastendorff Beach Loop Rd. Charleston OR 97542


33 - Sunset Bay State Park - On a sheltered bay three miles west of Charleston on Cape Arago Hwy. Facilities include a campground (with 29 full hookups, 31 electrical and 66 tent sites, plus eight yurts and hot showers), boat ramp, and swimming area with bathhouse. (541) 888-4902

Gold Beach

34 - Huntley Park - Located east of Gold Beach along the Rogue River. It offers camping overlooking the Rogue. (541) 247-6269


35 - Lobster Creek Camp - Located 10 miles east of Gold Beach up Jerry's Flat Road across the Lobster Creek Bridge and up FS Road 3310 eight miles. RV and group camping by reservation through the County Parks Office. (541) 247-3382


36 - Quosatana Creek Campground - Located 14.5 miles from Hwy 101. This campground on the Rogue River is a favorite spot for anglers. The campground is just east of the intersection with Forest Service Road 3313.

Port Orford

37 - Boice-Cope County Park - Three miles west of Hwy 1-1 off Floras Lake Loop Road south of Langlois. Camping, RV sites, hiking, day use, as well as windsurfing and boating on the lake.


38 - Cape Blanco State Park - Off Hwy 101, nine miles north of Port Orford. Features picturesque lighthouse and historic Hughes House, both open for summer tours. Park amenities include four log cabins with ocean views, 53 sites with electricity and water, and a horse camp. (541) 332-6774


39 - Humbug Mountain State Park - Located on Hwy 101, six miles south of Port Orford. Includes a day use area and a campground on the east side of Humbug Mountain. Campsites include 35 units with electricity and water and 73 tent sites. Hot showers. Hiking trails lead to headland's 1,756-foot summit. (541) 332-6774

Reedsport

40 - Umpqua Lighthouse State Park - Adjacent to historic Umpqua River Lighthouse above dunes area, six miles south of Reedsport off Hwy 1-1. Camping options include yurts and cabins. Campground has 20 full hookup sites (sewer, electricity, and water), 42 tent sites and hot showers.


41 - William M. Tugman State - Park On Hwy 101, eight miles south of Reedsport on Eel Lake. Campground has 108 sites with electricity and water, plus five yurts. Amenities include hot showers, open playing fields and ADA accessible fishing dock.


42 - Windy Cove A&B County Park - Campgrounds Located at Winchester Bay via Hwy 101, four miles south of Reedsport. 97 tent/trailer sites. 64 with water/electric/sewer. No camping reservations. Open year-round. (541) 271-4138
