In three short years, Feast Portland has quickly become one of the nation’s top culinary events, drawing top chefs, wine makers, brewers, artisans, consumers and media from around the world. Travel Oregon’s sponsorship of this event creates an opportunity for regional tourism partners to reach thousands of motivated culinary travelers while associating each region with a highly sought-after branded event. There are multiple ways for you to be involved in this September 18-20 event.

Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting

Designed to highlight culinary offerings from around the state, Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting is the largest event associated with Feast and takes place over two days in Portland’s Pioneer Courthouse Square. Travel Oregon is offering regional partners booth space at the event to highlight the culinary and tourism offerings from each part of the state. On each of these two days, featured chefs and/or artisans from three of Oregon’s regions will prepare and serve a small tasting item for up to 1,200 guests. This event occurs on Friday and Saturday, September 18 and 19.

SOUTHERN OREGON'S ROLE:
This year Travel Oregon has asked each region to develop an "Experience.”  Travel Southern Oregon’s theme is “Wild.”  We will have a Crater Lake backdrop, Danner Boots, and a raft. We will be represented by Elements (serving fresh local "wild" ingredients), Rogue Wilderness Adventures (focusing on hiking and wiking trips), and a local winery.

Brunch Village

This event, scheduled for Sunday, September 20, is a very popular addition to Feast that debuted last year. Travel Oregon’s Brunch Village booth will feature all seven regions, highlighting culinary discoveries one might find while traveling around the state. This is a great opportunity for smaller producers and artisans to highlight their products. Regional chefs/participants at Brunch Village should plan on serving up to 500 portions. Travel Oregon is working with Greg Robeson, greg@robesoncommunications.com, to coordinate booth space.

SOUTHERN OREGON'S ROLE:
We have been asked to provide one or two culinary artisans who will serve one of two items that represent Southern Oregon bounty.  It will be a great opportunity for an artisan to advertise their food or beverage.  The chef/artisan is responsible for transportation and food related costs
