Did you know that the economic impact of Bike Tourism in Oregon is $400 million? With new scenic bikeways, mountain trails and 7 Bikes for 7 Wonders, there’s a lot of news to share in the Southern Oregon cycling world.
n To celebrate the 7 Bikes for 7 Wonders, Travel Oregon asked seven of the best bike builders in the state to build one-of-a-kind bicycles, one for each of the Wonders. Ashland’s DeSalvo Custom Cycles created a lightweight road bike built to race around the big elevation changes and varied road surfaces of the Crater Lake area. This bike will be hidden somewhere at Crater Lake the week of August 3. So take advantage of extra tourism opportunities this cycle hunt promotion may provide.
