Ashland is home to one of the world's best known theatre festivals, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, with performances throughout the spring, summer and fall.

Ashland offers superb dining and lodging in Bed and Breakfasts such as the Lithia Springs Inn and wonderful hotels such as the newly restored Ashland Springs Hotel and the Windmill Inns of Ashland.

Stroll and shop, ski Mt. Ashland, raft the Rogue River, fish or jetboat.

Crater Lake National Park is a scenic 80-minute drive from Ashland. The Oregon Caves National Monument is only two hours away. The newly designated Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument, one of the nation's most diverse biological environments, is just outside of Ashland.

Ashland is the first city on Interstate 5 as you arrive in Oregon. Its charming downtown and historic Lithia Park are great walks from area Bed and Breakfasts and Ashland's Historic landmark - the Ashland Springs Hotel.

Home to Southern Oregon University, Ashland blends old world charm with new world excitement.
