SOVA coordinates numerous research trips for travel writers and group tour planners every year. In 2008, we hosted a group of 25 writers from the International Food & Wine Travel Writers Association. This “fam” (familiarization) conference, along with numerous ongoing efforts, has resulted in hundreds of stories about Southern Oregon.
Working with Travel Oregon and local Visitor and Convention Bureaus, SOVA communicates with know travel writers year-round to generate free publicity on the Southern Oregon region. Links to some of our most recent stories:
