Mt. Ashland Ski Area
Mt. Ashland offers great skiing and snowboarding within a half hour drive from Ashland. A full service ski area with over 1,100 vertical feet, a trip to Mt. Ashland is a worthy excursion. Mt. Ashland operates from early December to mid-April for skiing, and caters to business meetings, weddings, and company gatherings on a year-round basis.

Warner Canyon Ski Area
Located 10 miles north of the city of Lakeview. It features a ski lodge, with a fireplace, and restaurant. There is a 1/2 mile T-bar producing a 700-foot vertical lift. Join them for 17 weeks of skiing each year. No crowds, no lift lines. Many miles of cross country and marked snowmobile trails within easy access.
Crater Lake National Park
The winter brings some of the heaviest snowfall in the country, averaging 533 inches per year. Although park facilities mostly close for this snowy season, visitors may view the lake during fair weather, enjoy cross-country skiing, and participate in weekend snowshoe hikes.
