Alba Park
Downtown Medford, on Main Street, corner Ivy and 8th Street, and named after Medford’s sister city in Alba, Italy, this park boasts beautifully manicured grounds, a gazebo with electricity, and an historic marker with a sculpted fountain. A quiet place in the heart of downtown civic center.

Bear Creek Greenway
A 33-mile cycling and walking path that stretches from Ashland to Central Point. Pick it up in Medford at Hawthorne Park, Bear Creek Park, US Cellular Sports Complex, and other locations. Follows Bear Creek as it meanders through the Rogue Valley. The Rogue Run, a half marathon started in 2011 utilizes the beauty of this path from the north.

Britt Festivals, a non-profit organization, is the Pacific Northwest's premier outdoor summer performing arts festival. Located in the historic 1850s gold rush town of Jacksonville, Britt presents dozens of summer concerts, featuring world-class artists in classical music, jazz, blues, folk, bluegrass, world, pop and country music. Britt's performance venue is a naturally formed amphitheater set among majestic ponderosa pines and native madrones on the beautiful hillside estate of 19th century photographer Peter Britt. Prescott/Roxy Ann Park
Encompassing 1720 acres on the slopes of Roxy Ann Peak with a summit elevation of 3,571 feet. Early developmental work occurred in the late 30’s primarily by the Civilian Conservation Corp, including scenic overlooks, hiking trails and picnic areas. Great for hiking, bird watching, and nature study. On Hillcrest Road east, watch for signs.

Railroad Park
Table Rock Rd. & Berrydale Ave. Park attractions include full-size cars, a caboose, a hopper car, Medco’s “Four Spot” Willamette Locomotive, and a working telegraph system. Ride miniature “Built to Scale” steam trains on the 2nd and 4th Sunday every month from April through October, 11am to 3pm. Ride for free! Picnic areas also available.
