The North Umpqua is known worldwide for fly-fishing and whitewater rafting.
Colliding Rivers Information Center
The Visitors Information Center is located across from Colliding Rivers Oregon Wayside, where the Little River and North Umpqua River meet head-on, the only spot in the U.S. where such a phenomenon occurs. A joint project of the U.S. Forest Service, BLM and Roseburg Visitors & Convention Bureau, the Visitors Center is located in a converted Civilian Conservation Corps cabin and is open May-October.
